11 Days Safari Tanzania + Kenya

Explore the greatest national parks during this 11 day safari in Tanzania and Kenya. Visit the famous Serengeti, home to an abundance of wildlife as well as the impressive wildebeest migration. And the striking Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder with the world’s highest concentration of wildlife. These are two of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders you can witness on this amazing safari. You also get to visit the Masai Mara in Kenya.

Safaris in Tanzania and Kenya:

The Masai Mara is the only national park that really adds value to all the Tanzanian national parks. Usually it is much easier to spot wild animals in Tanzania and the parks are closer to each other. So you will see much more in a shorter amount of time in Tanzania.

Best time to combine Tanzania and Kenya

The only time we recommend to combine Kenya with a safari in Tanzania is from mid September until mid Oktober. This is when more animals of the great migration have crossed into Kenya.  During the other months the great migration is in the Serengeti national park.  Although, we can’t guarantee that actually more animals of the great migration will be in Masai Mara during this period as some years a significant part of the migration remains in the northern Serengeti. This depends on the amount of annual rain. Also take into consideration that the Masai Mara is a much smaller area than the Serengeti and can easily be crowded with tourists.

Advantage of this safari

This 11 days private safari in Tanzania and Kenya offers you the flexibility to travel at your own pace. Exactly the way you like it! You will have a private safari vehicle and guide throughout the entire trip. The hotels we selected for you during this safari are Silver class. Day 3 - 4: Serengeti National Park

Today you continue your safari in the Serengeti national park. Its stunning landscape can be seen in some of the most impressive nature documentaries. The endless plains and abundance of wildlife are unsurpassed. The annual wildebeest migration with more than a million wildebeest is probably the highlight of the Serengeti. It is a true spectacle and impressive to watch millions of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles thunder across the endless plains of the Serengeti. Together with your private guide you will be looking for the herds across the plains. Apart from the migratory animals you will also get to see lots of others, like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many more. Expect to be impressed by the natural beauty of Africa’s most famous park.

If you like to watch wildlife from another perspective, we recommend you to go on a hot air balloon safari. It is an amazing experience to drift silently above the plains with herds of wildlife passing by underneith.

The crater is home to the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa and is choked with elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos and even the rare black rhino. This is one of the best places to spot all of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim over the crater floor are incredible.
