“Right now, there are limited accessible training opportunities in Tanzania, making it difficult to change the game. At the heart of HMA is the desire to change that. With increased quality, efficiency and opportunity, profitability will be shared by all working in this rapidly expanding industry.”
Robbin Meulemans, Founder Tanzania Specialist

A blueprint for success

Phase One of the Hakuna Matata Academy will offer at least three professionals from each of the 80 lodges that currently partner with Tanzania Specialist a spot in our professional training and mentoring programs. After receiving theoretical and practical training from local and international sector experts, the HMA graduates will be equipped with a varied and professional skill set that will not only improve service in the lodges but provide the graduate with exciting opportunities for professional growth. In addition, 200 young adults from vulnerable groups will be professionally trained and follow internships at the 80 participating lodges.
