Un viaje espectacular y muy bien organizado, aunque esperábamos algo más al ser nuestra luna de miel Hicimos nuestra luna de miel con Tanzania Specialist, combinando safari y Zanzíbar, y en general la experiencia fue muy buena. Visitamos Tarangire, Serengeti y Ngorongoro, y terminamos el viaje en Zanzíbar, donde nos alojamos en una espectacular suite beachfront, perfecta para descansar después del safari. Los alojamientos estuvieron muy bien seleccionados, tanto durante el safari como en la parte de playa. El trato fue excelente durante todo el viaje y todo estuvo muy bien organizado de principio a fin. Denisse hizo un gran trabajo preparando el itinerario y adaptándolo a lo que buscábamos. Queremos hacer una mención especial a nuestro guía de safari, Issa Suedi, que fue sin duda uno de los puntos fuertes del viaje. Tiene muchísima experiencia, conoce muy bien los parques y gracias a él conseguimos ver el Big Five, algo que hizo que el safari fuera realmente inolvidable. Además, fue muy profesional, atento y cercano durante toda la experiencia. La única razón por la que no damos 5 estrellas es que, al tratarse de nuestra luna de miel, esperábamos sentir algún detalle especial en alguno de los alojamientos o una atención algo más personalizada en ese sentido. Nos llamó la atención ver que otras parejas también de luna de miel sí recibían algún gesto especial, mientras que en nuestro caso no ocurrió. Si es cierto que Issa nos regaló una botella de cava para brindar, pero es verdad que esperábamos algún detalle más diferencial…Creemos que Tanzania Specialist podría haber hecho algo más de seguimiento con los lodges/hoteles para remarcar que era un viaje tan importante para nosotros. Aun así, ha sido un viaje precioso, muy bien organizado y lleno de recuerdos que nunca olvidaremos: safaris increíbles, alojamientos de gran nivel, Zanzíbar como broche final y un guía excepcional. ———————————— A spectacular and very well-organized trip, although we expected a little more as it was our honeymoon We booked our honeymoon with Tanzania Specialist, combining safari and Zanzibar, and overall the experience was very good. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and ended the trip in Zanzibar, where we stayed in a spectacular beachfront suite — perfect for relaxing after the safari. The accommodations were very well selected, both during the safari and the beach part of the trip. The service was excellent throughout the whole journey, and everything was very well organized from start to finish. Denisse did a great job preparing the itinerary and adapting it to what we were looking for. We would like to make a special mention of our safari guide, Issa, who was without a doubt one of the highlights of the trip. He has a lot of experience, knows the parks extremely well, and thanks to him we managed to see the Big Five, which made the safari truly unforgettable. He was also very professional, attentive and friendly throughout the entire experience. The only reason we are not giving 5 stars is that, since this was our honeymoon, we expected to feel some kind of special touch at one of the accommodations or a more personalized attention in that sense. We did notice that other honeymoon couples received special gestures, while in our case this did not happen. It is true that Issa gave us a bottle of cava to celebrate, which we really appreciated, but we honestly expected some more distinctive honeymoon detail. We believe Tanzania Specialist could have followed up a bit more with the lodges/hotels to highlight that this was such an important trip for us. Even so, it was a beautiful journey, very well organized and full of memories we will never forget: incredible safaris, high-quality accommodations, Zanzibar as the perfect ending, and an exceptional guide.

We had brilliant holiday organised by Tanzania Specialist. We spend time at Jambiani Beach at Zanzibar followed by 3 days safari on Serengetti, one day Ngorongoro Crater and one day Tarangire National Park. The driver/guide was ok. He manage to show us all Big 5 animals, we have seen great migration in western part of the Serengetti. The final piece was Lemosho Route hike to Kilimanjaro Peak. The Lemosho Route hike guides Joel and Deo with chief Gideon and porters were great. That was real highlight of our trip.

The trip was as expected - we had a great time overall, It was organised very smoothly from pick up to drop off. Our guide was very knowledgable and could communicate with the other Tanzania Specialist rangers to make sure we could spot all the animals we wanted to. All the staff at the lodges were friendly and service was excellent. My only comment is that when we were travelling between the parks there was a few too many stops at expensive boutiques with overpriced souvenirs… but these double up as toilet stops so still useful.

We took a 4-day safari adventure with our guide Hussein. From the very start he made our trip unforgettable with great conversations, recording funny videos together, and helping us see the Big Five! He took the time to answer all our questions and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire safari. It was an amazing experience! Take care brother, Wei & Bo

If I could give you a better than excellent rating I would!!! This was definitely the trip of a lifetime! Everything from start to finish went flawlessly! Our guides, Fred and Elijah, were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Not only were we able to see the “Big 5”, we saw over 60 different animals in total. Being able to witness the Great Migration was jaw dropping. Everywhere we ate the food was delicious - every course. The rooms were beautiful, the bathrooms were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. My husband and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary while there. Not only were we celebrated on the day at the Sametu Camp with outdoor dining complete with song and anniversary cake; we were celebrated again two days later at Longpaw with dinner, song, cake and a very sweetly decorated room! Talk about attention to detail!!! Tanzania Specialists, you guys are amazing! Thank you for everything!

I was initially hesitant to book with Tanzania Specialist after reading some mixed reviews, but I decided to trust them for our honeymoon, and I’m very glad I did. Our experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. First, our guide Roger Solomon was outstanding. We had specifically requested him after seeing a recommendation online, and he exceeded expectations. His English is a bit basic, so if you prefer very detailed explanations this is something to keep in mind, but if you’re easygoing and focused on the experience, he is perfect. He is kind, attentive, and has an incredible ability to spot animals. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five. Of course, wildlife sightings also depend on weather, timing, season, and luck, not just the guide. The safari experience itself involves a lot of bumpy driving inside and between parks, with long travel days. A lot can also happen during safari travel, we saw several jeeps with engine issues or flat tires, and we even got stuck in the mud in the Serengeti at around 7pm for over an hour. However, to be honest, we are quite adventurous and we actually enjoyed the experience rather than getting annoyed. Life happens, and it becomes part of the adventure. Despite everything, the landscapes and wildlife sightings made it completely worthwhile, and every destination felt rewarding after the journey. The logistics were very well organized. From airport pick-ups to transfers between hotels and parks, everything was handled smoothly. Angel helped us arrange excellent accommodations overall—luxurious, comfortable, and with great food throughout the trip. We split our trip between safari and Zanzibar, which was the perfect honeymoon combination. One of the highlights of our stay was our stay at Zanzibar Sunrise at Bandas, which was an unforgettable place to end the trip, especially for the room with a pool, sea view, live music and atmosphere. For excursions in general, I recommend checking local companies or platforms like GetYourGuide, as they can sometimes be more affordable than booking through Tanzania Specialist. We used this approach for a couple of beach activities and it worked out great. One note: if I had to change one thing, I would choose a different hotel instead of The Seyyida Hotel in Zanzibar. We did have a 6h luggage delay when traveling from mainland Tanzania to Zanzibar, but that was due to the airline and not the company. Overall, the trip was an incredible experience. Riziki was very responsive throughout and always available to help with any questions. I am already planning to return with my family, and I would 100% recommend Tanzania Specialist and Roger Solomon as a guide.

My brother and I traveled with Tanzania Specialist from May 13–24, 2026, and had an unforgettable experience. Our trip included the Meru Waterfalls, Arusha Snake Park and Maasai Museum, Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro parks, plus time in Zanzibar. Everything was incredibly well organized, smooth, and comfortable from start to finish. Our guide, Makalo, was an absolute gem — such a kind, knowledgeable, and fun person to spend six days with. He went above and beyond to tailor the experience for my brother and me, making sure we had the best opportunities to see wildlife and capture amazing photos and videos. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the food was consistently delicious throughout the trip. A special shout-out as well to the staff at Sounds of Silence — they were absolutely incredible and made our stay extra memorable. May turned out to be a fantastic time to visit Tanzania: cooler weather, fewer crowds, and only a bit of rain. We were lucky enough to catch the end of the Great Migration in the Serengeti and see so many baby animals! I would 100% recommend Tanzania Specialist to anyone looking for a seamless, personalized, and truly memorable trip to Tanzania!

We’re on our way home from two weeks in Tanzania. Ten days safari and four in Zanzibar we’ve had the most incredible time. Tanzania Specialists satisfied from A to Z, from our first enquiry to every other detail from arrival to departure. Our driver Spear amongst all the other staff was absolutely exceptional as a guide, historian and driver. His knowledge of the wildlife was outstanding with many funny stories. This trip of a lifetime has delivered on that promise, with not only the big five but a vast array of animals and birds. The hotel selection was excellent the Serengeti Sounds of Silence and the Park Hyatt Zanzibar were standouts in a five star list. Awesome views, private pools and excellent all round service was constant at all the accommodation. I would recommend Tanzania Specialists to anyone interested in an African trip.

What an adventure! We went to Tanzania on our honeymoon and had such a positive experience! Tanzania Specialist were very adequate and professional from the start of our enquiry and we felt confident that they were the right choice for our trip. Albert from the office took a personal approach to look into all our requirements and preferences and booked us in promptly as per our wishes adding a few useful recommendations on the way. Upon arrival we were met by our key person - Frank and spent the following 7-8 days in his company - going on safaris in Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks and the Ngoro Ngoro conservation area and the crater. This guy was a brilliant guide and we had the luck to have him all for ourselves, as there were no other tourists with the same itinerary that week. Frank demonstrated exceptional competence about all species we saw during the safaris, knew his ways around the parks perfectly and his super friendly and humble attitude impressed us deeply. He is a real gem for the company! The places we stayed at were all incredible! Such comfort and authenticity everywhere - at each of the hotels and lodges and some amazing food too - especially in the Sound of Silence Lodge in Serengeti! The next part of our trip - in Zanzibar was no worse either, although rather different - after the busy days of safari, we had the chance to relax completely in the Fun Beach Resort on the coast of the Indian ocean enjoying a lovely huge pool and the perfect sunny weather. Our key person there - Ali also added to the positive experience we had - he proved as highly reliable and professional throughout our stay, accommodating all our requests promptly and with a friendly approach. Highly recommend Tanzania Specialist to anyone looking to experience the unforgettable adventure Tanzania has to offer!

We cannot say enough good things about how AMAZING our experience in Africa was & it wouldn’t have been possible without the Tanzania Specialist! From their travel agents to safari guides to lodging staff we were delightfully overwhelmed with how amazing this team was. Our travel agent helped curate both our safari itinerary and beach itinerary exactly to what my husband and I wanted for our honeymoon. They informed us about what to pack, what to wear, cultural aspects to be mindful of, specific rules of the country, arranged all our travel transfers (safari guides, airport pickups, extra excursion travel, etc.) and made the entire trip so easy. From the moment we stepped off the plane to the moment we got dropped back off, the Tanzania Specialist had us covered. Our safari guide, Innocent, became a friend not just a tour guide. He was so informative about the general culture, the animals, the parks, the best places to spot animals and got us positioned perfectly anytime we spotted anything. He was very easy to communicate with, every morning he picked us up he & the truck were cleaned up and ready for action, we loved how excited he was for the adventure he took us on everyday. We hope when we come back in a few years that we can have him guide us again! You absolutely have to book the hot air balloon ride of the Serengeti, it was truly surreal and a magical way to get a totally different view of the safari. Worth every single extra penny! The specialists packed us lunches for our safaris everyday which were great! Loads of food and tons of options, each lodge’s staff were so friendly & ready to help with whatever we needed. Each lodge also did an amazing job at really celebrating our honeymoon & making it feel special with beautiful decorations in our room each day when we returned, it was so sweet! In zanzibar our room was setup with champagne & fruit plate which was so special. We really want to thank the whole team for every part of our once in a lifetime adventure and a beautiful honeymoon!
