We have been on a 8 day safari trip to Tanzania and afterwards 5 daya to Zanzibar First of all the safari was arranged amazing. Everything from transfers to lodges was perfect. It is a big adventure driving full days and seeing the most beautiful animals and nature crossing the full Northern path of Tanzania. At one day we had a crash with a car in the middle of nowhere in Serengeti but the engineers came within one hour and we could continue the drive with a new jeep. Tanzania Specialist fixed everything perfect and you can always ask and stay in contact the full trip for questions which is really nice. We would really recommend them when coming to Tanzania for the best safari. 10/10 We also want to say a big, big, big thank you to our safariguide Mosses Eliphas pallangyo. He was like a father and a friend to us which was making the safari a 11/10. He was so social talking about the nature, making jokes and also so so friendly to everyone. When I’m thinking of him and seeing the pictures it makes me smile all the time. He was also perfect with driving, parking the best place and finding all the animals. Making the best schedules and always communicated everything. We wish him all the best and hopefully he can get a lot of more people the trip of their lifes as he did with us. ❤️🫶🏻

He was incredibly knowledgeable, but what stood out most was his wisdom and the thoughtful way he shared his knowledge with us. His words often gave us a deeper understanding of the animals, the land, and the people of Tanzania. Julius was patient, observant, kind, and always willing to answer our many questions. He had an incredible ability to find wildlife and then quietly let us take in the moment. We never felt rushed, and he encouraged us to truly experience and appreciate what was right in front of us. We will always remember the stories he shared, the lessons he taught us, and the beautiful way he helped us see Tanzania. We had an absolutely amazing experience with Tanzania Specialist from start to finish! Our Tanzania trip was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was the outstanding service and support we received from the entire Tanzania Specialist team. A very special thank you to our travel consultant, Raposhi Olosotu, who was exceptional throughout the entire planning process. We planned our trip within a relatively short six-week timeframe, and Raposhi made the entire process feel effortless. He worked with me closely for nearly a month, patiently modifying and fine-tuning our itinerary until it matched exactly what our family wanted. He was incredibly responsive, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in understanding what we were looking for. Raposhi also provided excellent recommendations for our lodges and accommodations, which turned out to be some of the highlights of our trip. His knowledge and recommendations made a huge difference in creating an itinerary that was not only exciting but also comfortable and perfectly suited to our family. Even with the relatively short planning timeline, he never made us feel rushed or pressured. He was always available to answer questions, make changes, and offer thoughtful suggestions. His professionalism, patience, responsiveness, and attention to detail were truly exceptional. We felt that he genuinely cared about making our trip special, and he delivered far beyond our expectations. Our safari guide and driver, Remi Mollel, was equally outstanding. Remi was extremely knowledgeable about the national parks, wildlife, animal behavior, and the best locations to find the action. His experience and knowledge made a huge difference throughout our safari in Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. One of the most impressive examples was when we had only one day in the Northern Serengeti and really wanted to see the wildebeest migration and river crossings. Remi knew exactly where to take us and positioned us in the right areas at the right time. Incredibly, we were able to witness two river crossings within about two hours! It was one of the most spectacular and memorable experiences of our entire trip. Remi was also an excellent driver—observant, professional, and always focused on giving us the best possible safari experience. He clearly knew the parks extremely well and had an incredible ability to anticipate where the wildlife would be. We could not have asked for a better guide. We would also like to give special recognition to Riziki Cliford, our contact person during the safari. When we decided at the last minute that we wanted to change our itinerary so that we could travel to the Northern Serengeti to experience the migration and river crossings, Riziki went above and beyond to make it happen. She was incredibly helpful, responsive, and resourceful in arranging the last-minute changes. Her assistance allowed us to experience something that became one of the absolute highlights of our trip. We truly appreciated having someone so dependable and helpful available to us during the safari. Another major highlight was the exceptional service at every lodge and resort where we stayed. The hospitality and attention to detail at Giraffe Manor, Touched by Nature Lodge and Retreat in Karatu, Pamoja Serengeti Luxury Camp, and Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa in Zanzibar were truly beyond excellent. Every property had wonderful staff who were warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable and memorable. We were particularly impressed by how the staff at each property consistently went above and beyond. From the warm welcomes and personalized service to the attention to even the smallest details, we always felt incredibly well cared for. Their friendliness and hospitality added so much to our overall experience. The safari itself was spectacular. Tarangire, the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro were each unique and breathtaking, and together they gave us an incredible variety of wildlife and landscapes. Seeing Tanzania’s incredible wildlife in its natural habitat was an experience we will never forget. The hot-air balloon experience and visiting Masai village was another unforgettable highlight, and our time in Zanzibar was the perfect way to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings after the safari. What impressed us most was how smoothly everything came together. From airport transfers and accommodations to game drives, domestic flights, and even last-minute itinerary changes, Tanzania Specialist handled everything professionally. Raposhi, Remi, Riziki, and all the wonderful lodge and resort staff deserve special recognition for making our trip so extraordinary. Their knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness, warmth, and genuine commitment to giving us the best possible experience made a tremendous difference. After 7 days with our guide, Emmanuel Swai, we want to say : thanks to Emmanuel for doing his best to make our dream true to see the beautiful Serengeti and Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara (incl night safari). To Serengeti : keep being beautiful. We were happy to see that there is place like kept as paradise for animals.

Our trip was perfectly organized from day one, and everything went off without a hitch! The Tanzania Specialist team went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The only small drawback was the location of our final stay, Bolognja Camp. Because it was about a two-hour drive from the Serengeti National Park, the local airstrip, and the hot air balloon launch site, we ended up spending quite a bit of extra time driving. Nevertheless, we highly recommend the Tanzania Specialist! We want to give a big thank you to Ayubu, our amazing guide, who created memories on our safari that will last a lifetime. We had such an amazing 5 days with Tanzania Specialists. It was a private safari and we went to Tarangire, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. We saw so many incredible animals, including elephants, giraffes, rhinos, lions, leopards and cheetahs. But honestly, what made the safari really special for us were Hassan and Walter. ❤️ Hassan has an incredible knowledge of Tanzania. He could tell us so much about the animals, nature and also the history of the country. Walter is an amazing driver and has more than 16 years of experience. Since we love photography, we really appreciated how he always tried to find the best position for us whenever we saw an animal. After spending 5 days together, it honestly didn’t feel like we were travelling with our guides anymore. We ate together, talked, laughed a lot and it felt like we had known them for much longer. A big thank you to Hassan, Walter and the whole Tanzania Specialists team. We will remember this safari for a very long time! If you are booking with Tanzania Specialists, ask for Hassan and Walter if you can. We couldn’t recommend them more! 🇹🇿❤️

We had the most amazing trip, far exceeding our expectations thanks not only the excellent accomodation and routes planned, but our driver and guide George Malley was incredible and he really made our safari so so special. He gave us so much insight into the animals, but also into Tanzania and local customs, cultures and tribes - which give us much more understanding of the country we were visiting. He also knew what were the best times to spot certain animals and was a super good spotter, we saw so many animals including the big 5. We also added the balloon tour and a mountain bike ride through a local village - both highly recommended. After the safari, we went to Zanzibar. In hindsight, 5 days on a beach resort was a bit too much for us and we ended up booking a hotel ourselves in Stone Town, as the resort was very far (on the nicer side of the island) from any sightseeing spots. The only thing I would have changed in our safari itinerary is a night in Ngorogoro itself, so we could drive out early to have more chances to spot rhinos. After the incredible friendliness on the mainland, Zanzibar was a bit disappointing with people harassing us every 5 min, both while walking on the beaches as through Stone Town and getting verbally aggressive if we ask them to leave us alone. Someone literally told us to "go back to our country" after asking him to stop, after following us and calling us "sweetie". Obviously not Tanzania Specialists' fault, but to keep in mind while planning because after our Zanzibar experience we would have preferred to skip it all together - unless you plan on staying in a resort the whole time (in that case, get full board). Our booking process was a bit slow, with often 1-3 days of delay between us asking questions to our rep, Ibrahim which made us feel initially unsure about the holiday, and we at some point worried whether the company was genuine. In the end our safari was excellent - but it seems the reps are extremely busy. It would have been nice to just get an acknowledgement of our queries - even without immediate response - rather than silence as it made it us quite stressed. Overall this was an incredible trip, we had an amazing safari and highly recommend the company. They're also growing a lot and present everywhere, which gives them access to knowing the best lodges and spots.

Our experience with Tanzania Specialist was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. Everything was perfectly organized, making the entire trip smooth, stress-free, and unforgettable. We started with several amazing days on safari before ending our journey with a relaxing stay in Zanzibar, which was the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. Our group traveled in two safari vehicles, and we were with Sharif, so we got to experience his guiding firsthand. He was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, always taking the time to explain fascinating details about the wildlife and local culture. His passion for his work was evident every single day. At the same time, both Sharif and Frankie worked together with one goal in mind: helping our group fulfill our dream of seeing the Big Five. Their dedication, teamwork, and expertise made it possible, and we were thrilled to see all five animals. It was a truly unforgettable moment that we’ll never forget. The entire experience exceeded our expectations, from the excellent organization to the unforgettable safari and the beautiful, relaxing time in Zanzibar. Amazing experience with Tanzania Specialist! I planned this 2 years ago and it was definitely worth the wait! Our guide Jordan was amazing! Ask for him!!! You won’t be disappointed! Very informative, terrific eye sight for spotting animals, and just a great guy! We went luxury style and each hotel and experience was amazing! So was the food! The 4 parks we visited, for 7 days, were awesome and we had many up close and personal animal experiences! My favorites were the Lions! Dream come true! Highly recommend using Tanzania Specialist for your Safari! And ask for Jordan!

My brother and I traveled with Tanzania Specialist from May 13–24, 2026, and had an unforgettable experience. Our trip included the Meru Waterfalls, Arusha Snake Park and Maasai Museum, Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro parks, plus time in Zanzibar. Everything was incredibly well organized, smooth, and comfortable from start to finish. Our guide, Makalo, was an absolute gem — such a kind, knowledgeable, and fun person to spend six days with. He went above and beyond to tailor the experience for my brother and me, making sure we had the best opportunities to see wildlife and capture amazing photos and videos. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the food was consistently delicious throughout the trip. A special shout-out as well to the staff at Sounds of Silence — they were absolutely incredible and made our stay extra memorable. May turned out to be a fantastic time to visit Tanzania: cooler weather, fewer crowds, and only a bit of rain. We were lucky enough to catch the end of the Great Migration in the Serengeti and see so many baby animals! I would 100% recommend Tanzania Specialist to anyone looking for a seamless, personalized, and truly memorable trip to Tanzania!
