Tanzania Serengeti & Great Migration

Just back from an 8 day safari vacation in Tanzania booked with tanzania specialist for 2 adults and 3 children. A huge thanks to James for organising an unforgettable trip we could not have asked for better. The trip totally exceeded all of our expectations. Our driver & guide Bill ensured we got to see and do everything we wished for. 10/10 for amazing accommodations and game drives. I will recommend anyone to book this once in a lifetime with James at Tanzania Specialist.

Tanzania Specialist are a must use company!!

We booked a 14 day Safari/Zanzibar itinerary through TS for our honeymoon this year - we had a phenomenal trip thanks to them! Ever since our initial enquiry, customer service has been faultless and we have been at the centre of everything - Deus Meela was assisting us and he did a great job of planning and tailoring our itinerary to the perfect trip - which it really was! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, we were made to feel comfortable and at home straight away; feeling none of the potential stress we could have felt. There was a representative waiting to take us to our first lodge (Forest Hill, Arusha) and talk us through our trip day by day to ensure we were happy! This continued throughout the trip; all of our stays, transfers, internal flights etc were well organised which made a massive impact! Our guide, Alex (aka Simba) was a hero. From Day 1 Safari, to Day 6 (our flight to Zanzibar), nothing was ever too much for him. He spoke excellent English, was incredibly knowledgeable, ensured we saw pretty much everything possible on a safari, and always got us to the right place at the right time, even on those Tanzanian roads - what a trooper! He allowed us to immerse ourselves in Tanzanian culture, told lots of stories, taught us lots of Swahili so we could interact with local people, and we would genuinely consider him as a friend upon leaving! If you get the opportunity, ask for him as a guide! Accommodation was all to a really high standard (TS pride themselves on this); and food exceeded our expectations, particularly on Safari. Overall, a great 5-day Safari (Arusha NP, Ngorogoro Crater, Central Serengeti, Northern Serengeti x 2), and a wonderfully relaxing 8 days in Zanzibar (Fun Beach, Jambiani/Paje)! When we come back to do Safari again, we will definitely book with Tanzanian Specialist!

A once in a lifetime experience!

Tanzaniaspecialist; It was an incredible journey which we will never forget! We had so much questions and demands before the trip (sorry about that), but Tassia helped us every time and stopped when de trip was perfect for us! The picnicbasket in our jeep full of drinks and snacks, it was a great idea Tassia! During the trip we also had good contact with Hjördis, she helped us really fast. Our driver Simba was the best! Hakuna Matata is what we learned from him! He told so many great stories, kept us save (even when de car broke down and when we were almost out of gasoline) and was so careful on the road. And what roads they have in Tanzania, very bumpy! Driving there must be exhausting but Simba always had a smile en made sure we had the best experience! We also did a balloon safari with Miracle Experience, a great idea Tassia, thank you for booking! We had "golden" rooms/tents. We didn't like the tent in Heritage but we loved all the rest (no. 1 Suenos, no. 2 Manyara best view, no. 3 Farm house (& Next Paradise in Zanzibar)). We did a 8-day safari. If you have less time, just go to the Ngorongoro Krater but always with Tanzaniaspecialist!

We had the best time!

Our family (17 and 20-year-old kids) spent 9 days on safari and 4 days on Zanzibar. We had the best time, and that is mainly because Tanzania Specialists are truly specialists at this! Ntimi in the office helped me put together our trip exactly according to our wishes. Our guide Bosco was unbelievably knowledgable about all the wildlife and so accommodating to our wishes. He always found very special spots in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by animals for us to eat our boxed lunches. And when we told him that the only one of the "spectacular 7" we were still missing was the cheetah, he went out of his way to find one. And, of course, he did :) We always felt safe, whether we heard lions roar outside our tent at night or found ourselves in the middle of an elephant heard. Bosco also taught us Swahili and how to spot the animals. He took such good care of us, and we were sad to say goodbye to him. All accommodations were amazing: incredible locations, comfortable and beautiful and outstanding service! We especially enjoyed staying at the Serengeti Bush Camp where we ended up dancing with the entire staff on our last night. Zoi Hotel was the perfect choice for our time on Zanzibar. We loved being at the northern tip of the island and that the hotel was small and personable. We will most definitely recommend Tanzania Specialists to all our friends who dream of visiting Tanzania. And we just might sneak into their luggage to return ourselves...:) Thanks to everyone at TS! You guys do this right! We will forever remember our dream vacation and all of you. Ahsante sana!

We just came back from a Safari organized by Tanzania Specialist, with the personal assistance of our consultant Deus MEELA in Arusha. From first contact to the last day, everything was mastered with professionalism, quick responses and immediate assistance and help when needed (especially when the airplane company lost our two suitcases with all the gear for the safari and essential medication) The safari was simply amazing, with the very experienced and kind driver, Charles MINJA. He was very knowledgeable, patient and prudent, and always in good spirits. We had the best time together. Every day was a blast: I won't list the animals we saw, but possibly ALL of them :) The lodges in the parks was very well selected, we were absolutely satisfied with our lodging all along the safari, including in Zanzibar. And, believe it or not, the food was fine dining, even in the tented lodge: amazing! At last, another thank you to Fadhili, at the Arusha office, who helped us tirelessly to track, find and have our suitcases shipped to us. We highly recommend Tanzania Specialist, it was an outstanding service and you won't regret it! Asante sana!

As a group of 8 colleagues we have booked a one week safari trip with Tanzania Specialist and what an amazing trip it was! Everything was so well arranged and accomodations were of really high quality (bed, food and friendliness of staff!). We had 2 cars and drivers (Haji and Humphrey) and they were amazing! Had lots of knowledge and good drivers too! I definately recommend Tanzania Specialist and would book with them again!! Communication was always excellent with them!
