For 5 times in a row now, Tanzania is the winner of Best Safari Country in Africa. Over 2,500 safari travelers and experts participated in this large survey conducted by SafariBookings.com. The panel also included 22 renowned guidebook authors from e.g. Rough Guides and Lonely Planet. Tanzania came out as the clear winner. Also, Zanzibar, a popular beach extension after a safari, was very popular.

Africa’s natural wonders
North Tanzania is home to three of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. Firstly Africa’s highest mountain Kilimanjaro, secondly the world’s largest overland migration named the great wildebeest migration and finally the Ngorongoro Crater which shelters have the highest concentration of wildlife.
