A Tale of Two Brands

After a trip to Tanzania, Dutch entrepreneur Robbin Meulemans and his wife fell in love with the country’s magic. In 2017, he founded Tanzania Specialist with one of Tanzania’s best safari and luxury travel guides, Epimark Bernard. Their goal: offering high-quality, private tours with local and professionally trained safari guides.

To bring guests closer to the magic of even more African countries, they founded Africa Safari Trips together with Mees Overdevest, managing director of Africa Safari Trips. Now both brands offer African safaris in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Botswana, South Africa, and soon Namibia… and who knows what the future holds!

If you're booking a safari, Tanzania Specialist takes all the hassle out of it for you. [...] We started in Kenya. Our guide Peter was fantastic, extremely friendly and happy to accommodate whatever we wanted. We finished in Tanzania. Our guide, Dotto William Miho is so knowledgeable he's like a David Attenborough disciple. [...]

We spent 18 days across Tanzania, Kenya and Zanzibar organised by Tanzania specialists. Everything was really well organised, pick ups and guides were always on time and waiting for us with a smile on their face and lots of information. Our safari pilot Alibaba was brilliant, so knowledgeable and friendly, we were so pleased to spend the week with him - he was excellent. The office team were flexible and helpful with our tailor made itinerary and enabled us to have the most wonderful time - would highly recommend! [...]

Exceeded expectations in all areas! Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania! This trip has always been on the bucket list, and it did not disappoint! Our tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, the lodges we stayed were fantastic, and the food was really good too. My hubby's biggest fear was that we handed over our money to a company over the internet, so coming out of Entebbe arrivals hall was a little nerve wracking. But for anyone worried this company may not be legit, they are 100% legit. Everything ran like clockwork! 10/10 for Africa Safari Trips.

We spent 5 days touring in Tanzania, it was wonderful! Our driver/guide “Eben” was fantastic. He successfully guided us in & out of the parks & hotels with expert knowledge. A huge thank you to Eben for his extra care and time spent with us. We would love to return and see more of this beautiful place & would highly recommend Africa safari trips / Tanzania specialists! The accommodations were top notch, the meals as well, and especially the service and transport from the moment we arrived til we were departing on our next flight. Wonderful trip in Uganda, Tanzania and Kenia! Afrika Safari Trips organised for us a fabulous 19 day trip across Uganda (9 days), Tanzania (6d) and Kenia (4d). When preparing, Renate worked diligently with us to customize our trip. Once we where in Africa, she also regularly checked in with us. When a flight was changed, she was there together with the country responsible to have everything arranged for us. We also had great guides. They are very professional and knowledgeable. Each of them always brought us very close to wonderful animal sightings. [...] A wonderful experience!
