Western Usambara Mountains

The Usambara Mountains are a lush green mountain range south of Mkomazi National Park, with a cool climate that is ideal for hikes. Walks take you over sweeping hills, along waterfalls, farmland, plantations, picturesque villages and colourful markets, with the most amazing views almost everywhere you go. During the hike with a guide, you will see all sorts of flowers, butterflies, chameleons, and fruit trees and enjoy the view over the outstretched plains just beyond these mountains.
