From January through March, the Ndutu region becomes the heart of the Great Migration, as over 2 million animals arrive to give birth. The Ndutu region straddles the southern part of the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The short, nutrient-rich grass makes the area a haven for newborn zebras and wildebeests, but also a prime spot for predators! Besides, it’s the only reserve in Tanzania that allows for off-road driving, offering close-up encounters with incredible wildlife.
