Hike in Udzungwa to the Sanje waterfalls
There are no paved roads in this national park, which means it’s perfect for shorter and longer hikes. The four-hour hike to the Sanje waterfalls is both challenging and refreshing, as you hike up the mountain but can reward yourself with a plunge at the bottom of the waterfall. Along the way, you might just spot one of those rare monkeys in the trees or see elephant tracks. Keep in mind that it can be hot during midday, but if you stay in the shade and hydrated, this is a great walk!
