Zanzistar is a small, simple and lovely guesthouse in Jambiani, on the beautiful east coast of Zanzibar. The hotel has seven rooms in total, one of which is a triple room located right on the beach. Wake up with a view over a crystal clear ocean, and know you are in a barefoot paradise!
The other rooms differ in size (double, triple, quadruple or family) and are located in the garden, or the village as they call it at Zanzistar. The hotel boasts a small but cosy swimming pool, lots of tropical greens, natural materials, white plastered walls and white sand under your feet. It’s a perfect place for kite surfers, families and anyone who enjoys a low-profile place with a great eye for aesthetics. The staff here is said to be amazing and the food (with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options) is delicious, with fresh fruit juices available all day to top it off. Enjoy!
