Little Chem Chem

Located near Lake Burunge and the north gate of Tarangire National Park, Little Chem Chem is a camp that offers the perfect combination of luxury and vintage. It is a wildlife lovers’ paradise, as it is surrounded and visited by all kinds of majestic animals such as zebras, elephants, lions and leopards (but do not worry, it is completely safe!).

The natural and simple design of the camp is marked by green, white, and brown tones, mimicking the landscapes surrounding it, making you feel in harmony with nature. There are six luxurious tents, one of which is perfect for families as it has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. But also the standard tents can accommodate one child. All tents are equipped with a kingsize bed, wooden furniture, a fan, a private veranda with a sitting area, and two showers: one interior and one exterior. The exterior one is surrounded by walls that give privacy but still allow the sounds and views of nature to enter. Make sure to take a shower under the starry night – it will leave you speechless!

Subsequently, the camp offers free WiFi, spa treatments, a dining tent with an outdoor area, a lounge tent, and a court of petanque. The best part, however, is the waterhole right in front of the camp that attracts lots of animals in need of a drink or bath. A great place to unwind after your safari!

Note: the camp only accepts children of 8 years and older as the area is unfenced. And even though a team of guards protects the camp 24 hours a day, parents must accompany their older children at all times. Younger children are accepted only if the camp is hired exclusively.
