The Lake Natron Camp of Ngare Sero sits in the remote wilderness near Lake Natron, surrounded by rugged volcanic landscapes. The solar-powered camp offers 10 guest tents (5 luxury tents, 3 suites, and 1 double suite), each lavishly decorated and set up with a king-size bed and and an ensuite bathroom with shower and portable eco-friendly compost toilet (similar to those in campers). Attached to the tent is a porch with seats to let you enjoy the incredible view, and a short private path from each tent leads to a natural pool fed by a freshwater spring. Meals are served in the mess tent with panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley, Ol Doinyo Lengai, and the (at times) flamingo-filled shores of Lake Natron.
