Aluna Paje

Aluna Paje is a hotel located in the heart of the lively centre of Paje, on the east coast of Zanzibar. Spread over several two-story buildings surrounding a swimming pool, it offers lovely rooms in nautical tones. Combining used dhow wood, and recycled materials such as milk cartons and African fabrics, Aluna creates a warm atmosphere in white and wood with colourful details. Huge palm trees give shade around the pool, where sunbeds and cocktails await, while chefs prepare freshly cooked meals in the restaurant. Last but not least, a rooftop terrace offers a wide view of the ocean and the village, and as such is a lovely place to witness to sunset every evening.
