6 Days safari, enjoy all the nearby parks

Discover the northern part of Tanzania on this beautiful 6 days Tanzania Safari. The Ngorongoro Crater is for most people one of the reasons to come to Tanzania. It is home to the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa, including the Big Five. One of the lovely smaller parks, Lake Manyara, is known for its breathtaking scenery, soda lake full of flamingos and outstanding bird life. You will finish your safari in the kingdom of the elephants, Tarangire National Park. The hilly landscape, with majestic Baobab trees against the blue sky, is breathtaking.

This private safari offers you the flexibility to travel at your own pace, exactly the way you like it. You will have a private safari vehicle and guide. The hotels we selected for you during this safari are Silver class. If you prefer more luxury, you can choose Gold or Platinum class hotels.

A variety of wildlife can be found around the huge soda lake, like buffalos, warthogs, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras and flamingos. The shallow Hippo Pool offers excellent opportunities for hippo sightings and you will have a spectacular view of the Rift Valley Escarpment.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning you drive from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The road leads you over the Great Rift Valley, through the crater forest, to the striking Ngorongoro Crater. This collapsed volcano is the main feature of the area and creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. Enjoy the beautiful colours of the landscapes and the diversity of animals. The crater is home to the highest concentration wildlife in Africa and is choked with elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos and even the rare black rhino. This is one of the best places to spot all of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim over the crater floor are incredible. Because of its natural beauty the Ngorongoro Crater is chosen as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.

There are a range of activities to do in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, like visiting a Maasai village.

Herds of up to 300 elephants can be seen around the Tarangire River, drinking or enjoying a mud bath. Apart from elephants, Tarangire is a paradise for bird lovers.
