Lemosho Route 8 days, day 1: Lemosho Gate (2,200 m/ 7,218 ft) - Big Tree Camp (2,780 m/ 9,121 ft)

Our guide will pick you up from the hotel in the morning and take you to Londorossi Gate (on the west side), where your unforgettable Kili climb begins! After registration and the formalities for the ascent permit, you go to the first camp on the route: Big Tree Camp. You will need your rain jacket today as you are hiking through the rainforest. After lunch you will do an acclimatization hike to Shira 1 Camp with an elevation gain of 300 meters. Then you return to Big Tree Camp for dinner.
