Zanzibar Coffee House Hotel

Ideally located in the heart of Stone Town, the Zanzibar Coffee House Hotel offers a magical atmosphere in one of the city’s historical monuments. Built in 1885, this is one of the oldest buildings in Stone Town. As such, it boasts 120-year-old teakwood doors, thick walls and colourful windows. The 8 spacious rooms (family options available!) are named after coffee varieties and beautifully decorated with lavish mosquito nets, rare lamps and antique wooden furniture. In the morning, a savoury breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace, overlooking the historical town. During the day, you can also enjoy coffee and cakes at the café on the ground floor, where they serve fresh coffee from their sister company on Tanzania’s mainland.
