Karatu Tented Lodge by Mawe Lodges

The Karatu Tented Lodge lies at a 15-minute drive from the town of Karatu, on a hill overlooking the Lake Manyara plains and the Ngorongoro highlands. It has ten spacious safari tents with thatched roofs, decorated in a combination of dark wood, light colours and African tones. The tents boast fluffy beds, free WiFi, an ensuite bathroom and a private terrace with some chairs and a table. There is a central restaurant with a fireplace for colder evenings, and large gardens offer a swimming pool and an outdoor barbecue for warmer nights.
