5-day Tanzania Safari [ Small group trip ]

From $1,537 USD* / Tarangire, Serengeti & Ngorongoro / 5 days

New: join our small group safaris!

You want to go on a safari, but don’t want to go by yourself? With this five day group tour, you can make your wildest dreams come true AND make new friends for life!

On the first Wednesday of every month, we pick up our travellers, aka you, at their hotel in Arusha. With a group of minimum three and maximum six people per jeep, you start your safari adventure then and there.

After meeting the grey giants of the Tarangire National Park on knee-level, you travel to the (in)famous Serengeti, where the Big Five and the Great Wildebeest Migration are waiting for you. The Ngorongoro Crater welcomes you afterwards with both, out-of-this-world nature and the world’s highest concentration of wildlife.

Between these unforgettable moments, you relax in authentic lodges which pamper you with Tanzanian hospitality, a cosy single room and delicious cuisine. Sit together with your fellow travellers, watch the glowing red sun setting at the horizon, and raise your glass to new memories. These are the most experience-packed five days of your life – and they will stay with you forever.

Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is well known for its big groups of elephants and the huge amount of giant baobab trees. These trees can live for hundreds of years and are actually a source of water for elephants in the dry season as they have a special technique to draw water from them. Besides, the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the dry season, which is why in this season in Tarangire you can see groups of up to 250 elephants next to many more animals! Watch the video of the park here.

Day 2 - 3

Serengeti National Park (central west/east)

Serengeti National Park is widely known as the place to go on safari, mainly because of the Great Migration that passes through here. The enormous, stampeding herds are impressive, as are the vast amount of predators that live here: over four thousand lions, 225 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas, and hundreds of wild dogs! And of course, plenty of other beautiful animals, which your guide will be delighted to search for together with you. Are you ready for this? Watch the video of the park here.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Conservation Area (incl. Crater)

The famous Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's seven natural wonders. The crater was formed two million years ago when a vast volcano erupted. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem, now home to the highest concentration of animals found anywhere in Africa! Once in the crater, thousands of animals such as lions, zebras, buffalos and black rhinos surround you, and the views are astounding – you won’t know where to look! Watch the video of the park here.
