Stanley's Kopje Camp

Stanley’s Kopje Camp near Mikumi National Park enjoys the advantage of being the only elevated land in an otherwise flat open plain, next to a waterhole that encourages game to come within sight of the camp. The 12 spacious and airy safari tents with thatched roofs are generously spaced around the kopje, pitched on high wooden platforms. Each tent is equipped with an ensuite bathroom with solar-heated water, comfy beds and large verandas with chairs and a table to enjoy your coffee with a view first thing in the morning.
The main banda sits at the crest of the hill commanding fabulous 360-degree panoramic views in both the dining area and the bar. A little below this building a shaded sitting area can be found next to the swimming pool, where you can watch animals pass by while you make your laps to cool off!
