Selous River Camp

Selous River Camp is beautifully situated on the Rufiji River adjacent to the Julius Nyerere National Park. Here you sleep in traditionally built ‘mudhuts’ with thatched roofs and ensuite bathrooms along the river bank, allowing you to fall asleep with the sounds of honking hippos in the river and the call of bush babies above you in the trees. The riverside swimming pool, sun terrace, bar and dining area complete the picture – especially when the sun sets to paint the whole area in the most beautiful hues of orange, pink and purple.
