A hike to the waterfalls of Mount Meru is one of our favourite activities in Arusha. After Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru is the second-highest mountain in Tanzania, right next to Arusha National Park. It’s a dormant volcano with very fertile soil on its slopes, and during the walk, you can see many beautiful flowers, plants, monkeys and birds along the way. The hike to the waterfall takes 30 minutes and is accompanied by an English-speaking guide.
