Serengeti Mara River Camp by Karibu Camps & Lodges

The Serengeti River Camp lies amidst the acacias and verdant meadows of the northern Serengeti, just 300 meters from the famous Mara River. With 10 suites (twin and double) this camp offers quick access to the wildebeest river crossing of the Great Migration during the long dry season from July to October. The tented rooms on stone platforms are classically decorated in wooden tones and brown colours with black-white photographs decorating the walls. The bathroom is lush and comfy, as is the netted four-poster bed, and the terrace offers the most splendid view. After a day of following the herds crossing the river (if you were lucky enough!) this is the perfect place to recuperate with a good hot rainshower, a dinner of fresh and delicious food and a good night’s sleep in a comfy bed under a beautiful thatched roof.
