Mnemba Island is a private island just off the coast of Zanzibar. The only lodge on this island is the andBeyond Mnemba Island Lodge which is perhaps one of the most romantic hideaways you can imagine. From the lodge you have stunning views all over the Mnemba atoll, and the heavenly waters full of corals surrounding the island allow for activities like diving, snorkeling, kayaking, cruises and of course swimming. The lodge furthermore offers all sort of luxuries with twelve private beach banda’s right on the pristine beach. The banda’s are simple and made out of local natural materials, but at the same time offer all the comfort you can wish for on an uninhabited island.
Food is served in the lovely common area with lots of wood and white pillows on sofas, but can also be enjoyed straight on the beach in a beautiful candle lit setting. Baskets of fresh fruit, fish, lobsters, crabs and prawns are delivered daily by local fishing boats, creating delicious mezze for lunch and lovely dinners on the beach. Relax and unwind on this little paradise on earth, but be careful… you might not want to leave again…!
