Blue Reef sport & Fishing Lodge

Blue Reef Sport & Fishing Lodge is very popular and an affordable beach destination. The lodge is runned by 3 passionate Dutch owners and they will personally ensure that the guests have a good time. The friendliness and personal approach, among other best qualities, are why they are rated very well on sites like Tripadvisor. The lodge has an a la carte restaurant where you can eat all day long (about $ 8-12 for a main course). Our customers are always very enthusiastic about this.

The Blue Reef Sport and Fishing Lodge owes its name to the passion for sport and fishing of the owners; a passion that can be found in the variety of activities that the lodge offers. There is an open-air gym and you can enjoy golf surfing, sea fishing or snorkeling in the beautiful lagoons of Zanzibar.

Blue Reef is located in Jambiani. Jambiani has in our opinion the most beautiful beach of Zanzibar and there is – unlike many other places – a village in the neighborhood. Here are many restaurants where you can eat with the locals who will receive you warmly.

Please note that, there is no swimming pool at this lodge. The rooms are neat and all necessary facilities are present. In addition, a good breakfast is served every morning in the restaurant. The location is excellent – right on the white sandy beach, what more could you need?!

If you really want a swimming pool, we recommend the affordable upgrade to the nearby “Fun Beach lodge”. Here you will stay for a small additional charge in a lodge with a swimming pool.
