The Outpost Lodge in Arusha is a cosy lodge with a long history of researchers and conservationists staying here, as it was founded by one German conservationist called Bernhard Grzimek over thirty years ago. The 28 rooms are either single, twin, double, triple or quadruple. They are basic but clean, with ensuite bathrooms and necessities such as fans, satelite TV, a safe and kettles with coffee and tea. The restaurant serves good food, and for those in need of some refreshment there is a small swimmingpool. If you are happy with simple, comfortable and clean, then this is a great place to start or end your safari or to prepare yourself for Kiliclimbs.
